The Synapse Centre for Neurodevelopment operates from the Research and Development Department at the UK National Health Service (NHS) East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust (ESNEFT). It is a research centre designed to combine expertise from paediatric physicians; allied health professionals; industry and academic institutions.
Our ultimate aim is to research and improve knowledge in this important field and provide much needed support and new evidence-based personalised approaches to therapies, helping those with a range of neurodisabling conditions including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Cerebral Palsy and genetic syndromes.
