ESES/DEE-SWAS

We are conducting a multi-pronged systematic review to understand the best practices for diagnosing and managing patients with the rare condition called electrical status epilepticus in slow-wave sleep (ESES), which is also a developmental epileptic encephalopathy with spike wave activation in sleep (DEE-SWAS). We will be seeking ethical approval to gather retrospective data on our local cohort of patients with the condition, and better inform regional/national practices.
